3D imaging has changed the practice of endodontics. In recent years the King's College London team has completed a number of clinical trials highlighting the importance of Cone Beam Computed Tomography in diagnosis, and outcome assessment in endodontics. This webinar is a journey across the Endodontic 3D revolution.
At the end of the webinar attendees will:
• Understand the advantages and disadvantages of 2D and 3D radiography in Endodontology
• Understand the relevance of 3D imaging in the assessment of root canal anatomy and in the planning phase of the endodontic treatment.
• Understand the role of 3D imaging in the detection of apical periodontitis, root resorption and root fractures
• Understand how Cone Beam Computed Tomography has changed our views on the outcome of pulp protection procedures and root canal treatments.
