During this webinar Dr. Martin Goldstein will discuss how the placement of posterior composite restorations has been turned upside down with the development of a bulk-fill flowable base material recently introduced to the dental market. The traditional approach of placing composite resins incrementally is challenged by a bulk fill approach. This paradigm shift is facilitated by new chemistry that significantly reduces the polymerization shrinkage stress associated with traditional flowable composites as well as the deleterious effects incurred when they are applied in bulk fashion. The webinar will demonstrate composite restoration of a quadrant and at the same time discuss strategy for sequencing the restorations as well as the materials and methods applied to the conversion. It may well change the way that you are currently placing composite restorations with a special emphasis on greater efficiency and speed.
