OralID™ is a portable, hand-held light designed to be used as an adjunctive device for oral mucosal screening. OralID emits a blue light into the oral cavity resulting in the green fluorescence of normal, healthy tissue while abnormal tissue will appear dark. OralID is intended to aid in visualization of oral mucosal abnormalities, such as oral cancer and dysplasia. OralID requires no consumables as it can be wiped with a disinfectant between patients. The kit includes the OralID device, two pair of eyewear with filtered yellow lenses for the user, four standard batteries, a SmartFilterID™ for photographing lesions with a smart device, and a two-year warranty. Free lifetime team training, which consists of a one-on-one live webinar held at any time needed, is also included with each purchase. For the cases of “when you need to know more,” the kit includes 3 CytID™ kits as well, which is advanced liquid-based oral cytology that provides quantitative data of suspect lesions. Rechargeable batteries and DSLR camera filters are also available. OralID was evaluated by 36 consultants in 1622 uses. This oral cancer screening device received a 96% clinical rating.
