The light yellow color aids in visibility during removal of cement, and the color is neutral enough for all but thin anterior restorations. After setting, removal of excess cement is easy, with no crumbling or smearing residue. Temporary restorations are easy to remove, and the cement cleans nicely off of the preparation.
