Presenter Bio
Dr. Frank Bogdan Dr. Frank Bogdan graduated from Mt. St. Mary’s College in 1970 where he received a B.S. degree in Biology. He pursued his dental education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, receiving his DMD in 1973 and certificate in orthodontics in 1976. During his last year of specialty training, he served as a teaching associate, giving lectures in orthodontics to undergraduate dental students. Currently he is president of the UMDNJ Orthodontic Alumni Society, a post at which he has been serving since 1997. Dr. Bogdan has guest lectured at the University since 2001 and joined the part-time faculty in 2003. He has maintained an active specialty practice in Bayonne, New Jersey since 1976.

Orthodontics and teaching have always been his passion. He has lectured for orthodontic societies, study groups, and universities in the United States, Mexico, and Europe. The one- and two-day presentations on the Damon System and advancements in jaw orthopedics have been well received. In addition, he heads up the regional Damon study group of orthodontists utilizing this state-of-the-art treatment system.
