Presenter Bio

Dr. Ngo graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1982 and completed his masters in prosthodontics and PhD in clinical cariology and dental materials. In 1998 he was appointed Principal Consultant to the Colgate Australian Clinical Dental Research Centre and became its Research Director of the Centre, between Research Director in 1999. He is currently the Chair of General Dental Practice with the School of Dentistry in Brisbane, Australia. He has extensive experience in private practice, research and education. His main focus in research revolves around the management of caries and the interactions between the glassionomers and the dental tissues. He is credited with developing several dental materials and clinical concepts. He has published and lectured extensively in Australia and internationally on the above topics.
