Dr. Smith, born in Cape May, NJ, received his doctorate in 1987 from Georgetown University’s School of Dentistry, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. While at Georgetown, he received numerous honors, including two Distinctions of Excellence, one in Fixed Prosthodontics and the other from the Academy of Operative Dentistry.
Dr. Smith has been practicing for 21 years, 18 of which have been at his own Private Practice in Middlebury, CT, (Richard N. Smith, D.D.S., P.C.) Since 2003, Dr. Smith has also taught at the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine, as a clinical instructor in the Department of Prosthodontics. Dr. Smith added the Lava Chairside Oral Scanner to his practice in mid 2008 and has completed over 150 cases. |
