Rick Sonntag RDT is President of 4Points Dental Designs (St. Petersburg, FL) , and previously worked as an in-house ceramist at The International Center for Complete Dentistry, the clinical practice of The Dawson Academy. With 20 years experience in the U.S., Germany, and his birth country Canada, Rick has studied under many world-class clinicians including Dr. Peter Dawson, Shigeo Kataoka, Ernst Hegenbarth, Willi Geller, Oliver Brix, Aki Yoshida, and Dieter Schultz. He is an Adjunct Faculty Member at The Dawson Academy whose lectures have focused on incorporating Dawson principles in the laboratory, Shade Selection, and Dentist - Laboratory Communication, always emphasizing the importance of teamwork for predictability and success. Affiliations include The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as an Accreditation Candidate, and the NADL with a certificate in Dental Laboratory Management. With his experience as an in-house Dental Technologist and lab owner, he is always looking for new ways to bridge the gap between dentist and technician, and create a synergy not usually found in traditional settings. |
