Presenter Bio
Dr. Douglas Knight Dr. L. Douglas Knight completed his undergraduate education and received his dental degree from the University of Kentucky. Following various military assignments in the Army Dental Corps, he completed a residency program in orthodontics at New York University and was awarded a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. In addition, Dr. Knight also completed a one year advanced education program in general dentistry and a comprehensive two year clinical program in Occlusion and Orthodontics at the Roth/Williams Center for Functional Occlusion. A native of Kentucky, Dr. Knight is a member of numerous professional organizations, has been chosen by his peers as one of the nations top dentists as reported in The Best Dentists in America, Woodward/White and is active in community and civic associations. Dr. Knight is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and lectures internationally on new orthodontic techniques and Interdisciplinary Dentistry. Dr Knight is a board certified orthodontist of The American Board of Orthodontics.
