After graduating from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1973, Dr. Bruce Small completed a general practice residency in Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown Pennsylvania. Following another year of general practice experience he began the dental practice here in Lawrenceville in 1975 and continues fulltime now with his daughter Kaitlin.
Dr. Small has many interests in dentistry particularly in teaching and continuing dental education. He is an associate professor at UMDNJ where together with others mentors a selective/elective in cast gold for senior dental students. He originated and is president of The Institute of New Techniques in Dentistry, a fully accredited learning institution for graduate dentists and dental assistants.
He is a regular columnist of restorative dentistry for a major dental publication and has published over 100 articles in dental journals. He is a sought after lecturer across the United States and beyond and is a continuing student himself belonging to two dental study clubs and mentors two additional clubs in New York and Pennsylvania. |
