The first step in effective instrument reprocessing for dentistry is the cleaning process. If all debris is not removed from the instruments prior to sterilization, instruments and other items will not be sterile and safe for patient treatment. This CE webinar will look at all aspects of instrument cleaning, from instrument cleaning techniques and devices, to selecting the appropriate equipment and solutions and monitoring equipment for efficacy. CDC guidelines for instrument cleaning will be reviewed, and manufacturer’s instructions for use will be discussed.
