Light cured resin composite restorations have had inherent problems since their inception over 40 years ago. Wear, contacts, and shrinkage with associated shrinkage stress have caused many restorations to have a shorter than expected lifespan. Due to improved physical properties of newer products the occlusal wear has been reduced and developing better contacts has also improved due to new matrix systems but polymerization shrinkage still remains a problem.
Recently a few companies have introduced new low shrinking composites. This webinar will explain the features and benefits of this high tech resin composite material. Clinical tips will also be shown for the practicing dentist.
