Today we have more than 5 different types of cements... and to make things more complex these newer cements have all kinds of dispensing and mixing methods as well as a broad array of setting mechanisms. This can be very confusing not only to the clinician but also for the dental assistant. To help clarify things, we welcome our guest Dr. Taiseer Sulaiman, Associate Professor and Director of Advanced Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials Research at the Adams School of Dentistry, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
