Our final podcast for 2024! All of us who are doing endo have one main goal in mind, and that's to save the tooth. But in many cases, it's impossible to reach lateral, accessory and small constricted canals with our disinfectant solution, such as sodium hypochlorite. This means we often leave active microbes in these areas that can eventually lead to an endodontic failure. So the question is, is there something we can do in our procedure that can solve this problem? The answer is yes! It has to do with a new technology that is relatively inexpensive and very easy to use. This technology is based on high frequency conduction and it is extremely effective in helping to disinfect tiny accessory canals that would otherwise go untreated.
