You might say, "But patients in the economy aren't accepting whitening as an option!" True, not all patients have the same capacity to spend money on elective procedures. However, whether you work with Zoom, or another system, you'll find that the discussion opens the doors for conversation. Your team needs to be knowledgeable and able to talk about the pro's and con's of each system with the patient.
If you would like to do more cosmetic dentistry (including replacing amalgams or stained composites) and your team is enthusiastic about the whitening process, your patient will benefit. When the staff discusses whitening with my patients, my production and collection go up. Patients listen to team members differently. We know that times have changed in the dentistry. However, improved dental technology can help your patients maintain their health, and what patients still want, if they can afford it, is whiter teeth and fresher breath.
