This CE webinar focuses on the clinical steps and documented outcomes following atraumatic restorative treatment (ART) and caries arrest measures to address unmet needs among pediatric, adolescent and adult patients. Detailed clinical techniques for expeditious caries debridement, placement of Interim Therapeutic Restorations (ITRs) and implementation of rapid remineralization protocols by members of the dental team will be presented.

Upon completion of this CE webinar, participants will be able to:
• identify, define and distinguish between Early Childhood Caries (ECC) and Severe Early Childhood Caries consistent with the the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry & American Academy of Pediatrics policy statements
• assess carious deciduous and permanent teeth identifying candidates for Interim Therapeutic Restorative treatment, sedative fillings and caries arrest treatments.
• list, in order, the tooth preparation steps and restorative materials necessary for successful placement of ITRs using glass ionomer restorations and sealants in deciduous and permanent teeth   ( disclaimer, bio and commercial disclosure )
